The Alleghany-Bath-Highland Bar Association (the area lawyers) is proudly sponsoring its Fourth Senior Law Day, to be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Thisfree event will be held in the Moomaw Center of the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College. Lunch will be provided at no charge to all registered attendees.
This program has been organized to provide seniors, their adult children, and other interested citizens with information and access to resources on a wide range of issues that are important to seniors but often difficult to address. Attorneys and other experts will provide meaningful and clear information on subjects such as basic estate planning and probate issues, Alzheimer’s Disease, guardianships and conservatorships, long-term care insurance, elder abuse and identity theft, nursing home issues, and how to pay for long-term care.
